Aggressive Marketing to Boost Exports

The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has requested the government to launch an extensive marketing campaign to scale exports and push traders in the right direction. The association believes small business exporters need more resources and require robust support to market their products globally. Additionally, a recent Parliamentary Panel report mentioned India couldn't capitalize much on the China Plus One strategy and that Southeast Asian economies like Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Cambodia have beaten India in that regard.

Govt support needed in undertaking overseas marketing initiatives to boost exports: FIEO

Apex exporters body FIEO has urged the government to support domestic exporters in undertaking overseas marketing initiatives with a view to boost outbound shipments. Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) President A Sakthivel said that Indian exporters lack in marketing and small exporters "hardly" have resources to market aggressively overseas.
